The name comes from a historic town on the Strada della Lana between Biella and Borgosesia—a region renowned for its textile culture and artisanal heritage. With this line, we combine the finest materials with precise tailoring, as well as Italian lightness with modern, confident elegance—created for people with a sense of style and timeless sophistication.

All suits and blazers in the VALDILANA line are made exclusively from high-quality fabrics sourced from the Biella region. The short supply chain between the weaving mill and the tailor’s shop underscores our commitment to resource conservation and represents sustainable value creation.

A VALDILANA blazer embodies the art of tailoring, featuring a notched lapel, fine horsehair interlining (full canvas), and meticulous handcrafting in all key areas. The result is a blazer of natural elegance, with an excellent fit and exceptional comfort.

The fit and shape of every custom-made VALDILANA jacket are achieved through high-quality canvas interlinings made of pure horsehair, which run across the entire front panel. In the chest area, the jacket is enhanced with an artfully crafted placket that lends the upper section structure, stability, and a masculine silhouette.

These linings are precisely cut by hand and then meticulously hand-stitched to the outer fabric—a masterpiece of traditional tailoring. In addition to precision ironing, hand-pressing is an indispensable part of the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into creating a VALDILANA luxury jacket. A classic custom-made suit jacket undergoes approximately 30 individual pressing steps. Each phase serves to give the jacket its characteristic silhouette, vitality, and luxurious suppleness.
